Embedded contribution

Embedded

Inside the team, close enough to move the work.

I join a B2B go-to-market team and help build, run, and improve the work across marketing, sales, product, data, and the systems between them.

This is where I spend most of my time

I usually embed with a go-to-market team that has a technical product and a sales cycle that takes some explaining.

The work rarely stays inside marketing. A campaign runs into the CRM. The CRM runs into the sales handover. The story on the website needs an answer from product. The numbers need somebody to follow them through all four.

I join that flow as a contributor. I am not the fractional head of marketing and I am not an agency account manager. I am there to help the team think, build, and get useful work live.

The work can move with the problem

Some weeks I am working on positioning or a campaign. Some weeks I am fixing the data and tracking underneath it. Sometimes I build a small internal tool because the team needs something its stack does not provide.

I use agents throughout the work for research, campaign preparation, data checks, quality control, documentation, and handovers. This is deeper than asking a chatbot to write an ad. The agents sit inside the way the work is prepared and run, while I keep the context and make the calls.

That combination is useful in software, engineering, fintech, and other companies where the product and buying process are not simple.

How we work together

The usual setup is one reserved day per week, plus enough async contact to keep context moving. Meetings happen when a decision needs the right people, not because a recurring invite says so.

The agreement starts at 30.000 kr per month ex. VAT for one day per week, with a three-month minimum. After that, either side can end it with 30 days notice. More time can be scoped when the work and my capacity support it.

I document decisions, systems, and working methods as we go. The team should become easier to operate, not more dependent on me.

Where it starts

If the role is clear, we can start there. If the situation is still a knot of symptoms, a focused discovery can make the first decisions visible before we commit to the longer setup.
